Man Arrested for Allegedly Posting Ex-girlfriend’s Steamy Pictures is Back in Jail.
Dothan police say Taylor David Simonton retaliated against his former girlfriend by posting steamy pictures of her online.
Taylor David Simonton, 32, faces extra charges for failure to appear for his arraignment on 25 counts of Distributing Private Images on February 6.
Houston County District Judge Benjamin Lewis issued an arrest warrant for him, and he was apprehended by officers early Saturday.
At 2:29 p.m., he was booked into the Houston County Jail and detained on a $300,000 bond.
This arrest is the latest in a string of legal issues being faced by Simonton.
Aside from the Private Image charges, for which he had already posted bail following a short jail stay, a woman sought court-ordered protection from Simonton in an ultimately dismissed case last summer. The identity of the woman Simonton allegedly threatened with photos is not revealed in court documents.
Simonton, who presently resides in Eufaula, does not have an attorney listed to represent him.
